This
hunt offers a unique opportunity at hunting monster whitetails very early in the
year. The bucks are still in their Summer patterns and very predictable. We pattern the
bachelor groups and commonly target specific deer, then set stands and blinds
accordingly. The targeted areas are near the feeding and bedding areas where the
bucks typically have a set pattern. Hunters proficient with iron-sights, will
have a very good chance at harvesting 150+B&C. class bucks and a 170+
class buck is a very real possibility. This is a statewide draw hunt.
"Landowner Permits are no longer available in Kansas. Kansas hunters now
have to draw their tag" For drawing applications call the Kansas
